Donald Trump filed another appeal in a criminal “hush money” case in his continued effort to try to delay trial from going forward Monday.
The former president is seeking to overturn trial Judge Juan Merchan’s ruling that he isn’t immune from the criminal charges on the grounds of presidential immunity, according to a report by CNN.
The embattled real estate tycoon is also trying to overturn Merchan’s ruling dismissing Trump’s bid for the jurist to recuse himself from the case.

Trump’s lawyers argued in court papers Wednesday that Merchan didn’t have the authority to make the prior rulings and is asking for an appeals court to hear his arguments on the matter on May 6, the outlet reported.
