A FRUSTRATED diner has blasted McDonald’s for an alleged price spike on a beloved combo meal.

The payment increase was spotted earlier this month when they attempted to make a mobile order.

“You not lying!!! S**t like this is ridiculous!!!” the longtime McDonald’s fan wrote in a post on X.

“@McDonald’s and @DoorDash should be ashamed of this!!”

Included in the customer’s post was a screenshot of the DoorDash order they were making to be delivered by their local McDonald’s.

It was the Double Cheeseburger Meal with an upgraded large Hi-C Orange fountain drink and French Fries.

The total cost was listed at $9.39 for the meal, not far off from the average at most of McDonald’s over 13,600 locations nationwide, although prices vary state to state.

Except, this was made through DoorDash, so there was a delivery fee tacked on of $2.49.

Then, fees and estimated taxes added another $4.22, along with a $2.50 tip for the Dasher.

The comprehensive cost was ultimately $19.60 without a $1 savings perk that made it $18.60.

That means with all the added taxes and fees, the customer was paying virtually double the cost of the meal itself through DoorDash to get it delivered.

McDonald’s and DoorDash have yet to respond to their complaint.
