USA TODAY Sports’ Lorenzo Reyes looks at the three biggest story lines heading into Week 17 of the NFL season. USA TODAY Sports

The NFL’s 2016 regular season wraps up with a full 16-game slate on Sunday.

Ten of the 12 playoff spots have already been taken. The Washington Redskins will almost surely claim another if they beat the New York Giants in the afternoon. The Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions are all in the running for the NFC’s remaining first-round bye, while the New England Patriots are a win away from claiming home field in the AFC (though the Oakland Raiders still have a shot at it, too).

But Sunday’s main event will occur in the evening when the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions meet at Ford Field for the NFC North title. If the Redskins win, the loser goes home. However if Washington loses, the Pack and Lions will almost surely both advance into postseason.
