There are
billions of people who live on this planet, yet
there are less than one hundred performers that do
rope spinning. This is an unusual act that will
thrill and captivate your audience. It is one of the
best ways to bring attention to your program:
newspapers, TV, radio, or live shows.

Sam Colt, the inventor and
manufacturer of Colt handguns came up with the idea
of locking the cylinder of a gun. He thought of this
while traveling on a schooner. While under sail to
England he noticed how the Captain could lock the
wheel of his ship and it would stay on course. This
gave Sam the idea of inventing a hand gun with a
cylinder that would shoot many times. He made a
working model out of wood and obtained a patent when
he arrived in England.
With the help of the Texas Rangers, Sam Colt build
and marketed the handgun that won the West.
Soon the cowboy learned that there was a reliable
weapon that could be fired many times without
being reloaded.
Gun spinning and placing a pistol in and out of a
holster became a pastime and art to amuse those
around the campfires.
It's now regarded as a lost western art. An art that
Cowboy Ron has acquired, and won him a trophy at the
Wild West Arts meeting in Wisconsin.

This
is another great strolling act that Ron has
developed. He wears harmless non firing
replicas of the pistols. This guards against
the pistols falling into the wrong hands.
Gun spinning is a big crowd pleaser. |
