Ron has
performed at major events including county fairs,
store openings, ball games, and charity events. He
travels thousands of miles each year entertaining,
meeting people, and seeing the great western
landmarks of this country of ours.
Ron keeps a rope in his hand most of the time. This
gives him a chance to spin and entertain people
while standing at the landmarks he visits. He's
"spun" rope at:
-
Tom Mix's memorial in Florence, AZ
-
John Wayne's Alamo Village in Brackenville,
TX
- Judge Roy Bean
Court House Langtree, TX
Ron's passion for the
West is strong. He has flown his Cessna One-fifty to
Tucumcari, New Mexico. The legend goes that here the famous
Louis Lamoure conceived the Sackett series at Tucumcari. So
you can see it was just a matter of time before Ron took up
writing. He has written and published "The Rest Of The West"
magazine written in the spirit of the dime store novel. His
means of promotion and selling his book is by carrying them
into a store in saddle bags and making his presentation.
This gave Ron an excuse to travel out west.
